ATM Card



ATM Smart Card is a service extended to Bank Islam’s the customers upon opening of new savings or current accounts at Bank Islam branches. The card uses chip technology is from France which is not only secured, but gives transactional flexibilities. It is a payment multipurpose card and also known as Bankcard which comprises of 3 applications:

  1. ATM
  2. MEPS e-Debit
  3. MEPS Cash

Bank Islam Smart Card is a member of the Malaysian Electronic Payment System (MEPS) network since year 2000 to enable Bank Islam ATM network to integrate with nearly 4,000 ATMs, thus provides convenience and hassle free environment for the customers to do their banking transactions.



ATM application

  • Cash withdrawal up to RM1, 500.00 per transaction, subject to daily maximum limit of RM5,000.00 or 5 transactions per day
  • Cash withdrawal from more than 4000 ATMs within MEPS network
  • Balance Inquiry
  • Internet Banking Registration
  • SMS Banking Registration
  • Cheque Book request
  • Current Account Statement request
  • Placement of Investment Account
  • Fund transfer to other accounts (within Bank Islam)
  • Bills / Utility Payment
  • IPTA Bills – UiTM, UKM (list of IPTA will be updated from time to time)
  • YPEIM Charity Donation
  • Changing of Personal Identification Number (PIN)

MEPS e-Debit application

  • The e-Debit (electronic funds transfer at point of sale) is a service where costomers pay their purchase using Bankcard and Personal Identification Number (PIN). The purchase amount will be deducted directly from either their Savings or Current Account.
  • E-Debit is a secure and convenient method for making payment of your purchase.

MEPS Cash application

  • MEPS Cash is an e-purse application in your Bankcard, which stores a specific amount of monetary value loaded from your account, which can be used to make small purchase.
