Bank Islam Wins Platinum In Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Award 2012 For The Fourth Year Running

KUALA LUMPUR, Tuesday, [29 May 2012]: For the fourth straight year, Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad (Bank Islam) has been named winner of the PLATINUM AWARD for Islamic Financial Services in the annual Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Award 2012. The Reader’s Digest awards are based entirely on consumers voting through a survey conducted among the readers of the magazine. During the survey, consumers were asked to rate the most trusted brands based on six qualitative criteria: Trustworthiness and Credibility, Quality, Value, Understanding of Customer Needs, Innovation and Social Responsibility. Scores given by consumers for these attributes were combined with the number of people choosing the brand to produce the final rankings in each product category which then determined the awards. A brand that receives a Platinum Trusted Brand Award has achieved a mathematical ranking at least double that of its nearest competitor.
