Implementation of Second Authentication i-Access Code (IAC)

 

bankislam.biz i-Access Code (IAC)
As part of our effort in enhancing security features, with effect from 20 December 2006, all bankislam.biz users will need to have the additional security authentication code when performing the following transactions:

  • Registering new payees or beneficiaries
  • Third party fund transfer
  • Interbank
  • Prepaid airtime reloads
  • Open bill payments
  • Profile Maintenance
  • Financial Process Exchange (FPX)

What is IAC?

  • IAC is designed as an additional security code with a unique 6-digits code, which is auto-generated.
  • This IAC code can be requested via:
    • bankislam.biz and the code will be delivered to your registered mobile phone
    • at any Bank Islam’s ATM and will be printed on the ATM slip
  • The IAC will be lasted for 24 hours upon request and only valid for 4 hours after the first usage.

How to activate the IAC?

  • For activation purpose, kindly register your mobile phone at any Bank Islam’s ATM machine.

Three simple steps to register your mobile phone:

    1. Select “Other” menu
    2. Select “Internet Banking”
    3. Go for “ Mobile phone Registration”

And upon request for IAC at www.bankislam.biz, the secure code will be delivered to your registered mobile phone.

  • Or, you may obtain the IAC at any Bank Islam’s ATM machine.
    1. Select “Other” menu
    2. Select “Internet Banking”
    3. Go for “ i-Access Code Request”

How to register your mobile phone number?

  • All bankislam.biz users are required to register their mobile phones at any Bank Islam’s ATM.
  • Upon registration, you may request for the IAC before performing any selected transaction. The IAC will be generated and sent to your registered mobile phone.
  • Three simple steps to register your mobile phone at Bank Islam’s ATM:
    1. Select “Other” menu
    2. Select “Internet Banking”
    3. Go for “ Mobile phone Registration”
  • Likewise, if you wish to delete your registered mobile phone, you will need to perform it at any Bank Islam’s ATM.

How does IAC work?

  • Login to www.bankislam.com.my, users need to use existing user id and password.
  • To request for IAC, before performing the above selected transaction via bankislam.biz or Bank Islam ATMs.
  • Key-in the IAC received at your registered mobile phone or at ATM slip at the transaction screen whenever required.
  • You may use the same IAC for 4 hours period.
  • If you lose / accidentally delete the IAC received at your registered mobile phone, kindly call our IB Customer Care or email at ibcustomercare@bankislam.com.my.
  • For lost IAC requested at Bank Islam’s ATM, you may request again at any Bank Islam’s ATM.
  • With the implementation of IAC, your online banking now will be more secured and with enhanced safety.
