Co-Brand Card cardholders can now enjoy the benefits and privileges such as;

• Complimentary Group Family Takaful Coverage.

– The card offers complimentary Group Family Takaful coverage of up to RM50,000 and benevolence expenses of RM1,000 for principal cardholders.

• Non-compounded Interest@ Profit Charges

– Cardholders can save up to 1.6% per annum on the profit charges

• Annual Fee is waived for 1 year (Principal card only). Subject to terms & conditions:

– Active account means at least one (1) retail transaction, cash or balance transfer per month regardless the amount

– No default repayment

• Balance Transfer Facility

– Cardholders are given 20 days grace period of FREE profit charges. The total amount transferred must be within the available financing limit.

• Profit Rebate Programme*

– Cardholders will enjoy profit rebates between 0.5% and 2.5% that are credited directly to their accounts each month.

• Competitive Cash Withdrawal Fee

– The withdrawal fee is four times cheaper than other banks. Cardholders can enjoy a minimal cash withdrawal fee of RM12 for every RM1,000 or part thereof. As compared to 3% of the withdrawal amount or RM50, whichever is higher, which is chargeable by conventional credit card issuers. The card also allows cash withdrawal of up to 50% of financing limit.

• Zakat Payment

– Cardholders can pay zakat (tithe) via standing instructions, auto-debit, internet and EDC terminals at Pusat Zakat counters. (currently operating at zakat centres including Zakat Selangor, Zakat Wilayah Persekutuan, Pahang, Pulau Pinang, Melaka and Negri Sembilan. BICC is in the process of expanding its services to other Pusat Zakat nationwide.)

• Discounts For Mail Order Telephone Order (MOTO) & Easy Payment Scheme

– Cardholders can enjoy privileges and special discounts under the Bank’s Mail Order Telephone Order (MOTO) and Easy Payment Programmes. The programme awareness or campaign will be sent together with the statements, from time to time.

• Under Bank Islam Tourist Friend Card, cardholders will enjoy Great Discounts Up to 50% and grab more values and savings using a card for traveling, dining and shopping in participating outlets throughout Malaysia. Cardholders will have access to great bargains, discounts and privileges at authorized merchants listed in Bank Islam Tourist Friend handy guidebook. Handy guidebook will be given to approved applicants only.
