Investment Objective

To provide a steady and consistent appreciation over the medium to long term period to investors.

Any material changes to the investment objective of the Fund would require Unit Holder’s approval.

Investment Strategy

The Fund will actively be managed to balance between steady long-term growth of capital and at the same time aims to provide regular incomes to the investors. To achieve these goals, investment in equity may focus on stock of well established blue chip companies operating across numerous industries, which give high dividend yields besides having good prospect for future growth. The Fund may also invest in small and mid-size companies that could provide high dividend yield (even if there is no track record). The investment in these stocks is to provide high income-flow to the Fund for potential income distribution to Unit Holders.

Meanwhile, the investment in bonds is particularly for generating the recurring income from expected regular annual dividend payment or accrual incomes. Therefore, the bonds with high dividend payment will be given priority provided that they are investment grade with minimum single A and above.

However, during uncertain market condition, the fund manager may take temporary steps that may not be consistent with the fund’s asset allocation policy.

Principal Risk

Market risk, specific security risk, interest rate risk, credit/default risk, liquidity risk, non compliance with Shariah requirement risk.

The interest rate risk is a general economic indicator that will have an impact to the management of the fund regardless of whether it is a Shariah-based fund or otherwise. It does not in any way suggest that this fund will invest in fixed income securities, which are not approved by Shariah. All the investments carried out for this fund are in accordance with the requirement of Shariah.

As the Fund’s stock investment focus mainly in blue chip and high dividend yield stocks whose prices normally do not fluctuate much, the investors should be willing to accept some moderate growth in principal (as compared to potential higher returns from growth stocks).

Income Distribution (if any)

Consistent with its investment objective, the Fund are expected to make a regular income distribution to the Unit Holder once a year (or interim (half a year)) subject to the availability of investment incomes.

    2. Instruct us to deposit the income earned into your Bank Islam account

Note: In the absence of specific instructions or in the case cheques which are left uncashed by Unit Holders upon lapse of 6 months cheque validity period (from the date of the cheque), the Manager shall automatically reinvest the monies by purchasing additional units of the Fund on the Unit Holder’s behalf. The investment will be executed based on the NAV per unit on the last business day of the following month.
