Investment Objective

To provide a medium to long-term return through capital appreciation and dividend income.

Investment Strategy

In order to provide reasonable return and capital growth over the medium to long-term equity investment will represent a dominant part of the portfolio (up to 90% of the fund’s NAV). They will comprise of a diversified portfolio of stocks of blue chip companies, high growth companies and dividend stocks that listed on Bursa Malaysia.

The Fund Manager will adopt an active trading approach of which the Fund may increase its equity investment if the equity market outlook is expected to be positive. Conversely, the investment in cash and money market will be raised at the expense of lower equity exposure in the event of a severe downturn in equity market is anticipated.

The Fund may also invest in bond which is generally for capital preservation and to achieve a moderate capital appreciation. The remaining of the portfolio will include cash (short-term money market instruments) mainly to ensure liquidity.

However, during uncertain market condition, the fund manager may take temporary steps by lowering the equity exposure below the stipulated range.

Since the fund invests primarily in stocks that normally more volatile in prices as compared to other securities, the investors should be prepared to accept some interim price volatility, of which sometimes can be significant to achieve that higher return.

Income Distribution (if any)

Consistent with its investment objective, the Fund are expected to make a regular income distribution to the unitholder once a year (or interim (half a year)) subject to the availability of investment incomes.

Automatically reinvest the income earned, into your account.

2. Receive your income distribution

b. Instruct us to deposit the income earned into your Bank Islam account

Note: In the absence of specific instructions or in the case cheques which are left uncashed by unitholders upon lapse of 6 months cheque validity period (from the date of the cheque), the Manager shall automatically reinvest the monies by purchasing additional units of the Fund on the unitholder’s behalf. The investment will be executed based on the NAV per unit on the last business day of the following month.
