Investment Strategy |
In line with the objective of the Fund is to achieve a long-term capital growth, the investment of the Fund would be biased towards stocks of companies that could offer potentially increase in value (prices) rather than steady incomes. To reach this objective, equity investment will represent a dominant part of the portfolio (up to 70% of the fund’s NAV). Accumulation of stocks of companies that are expected to show above-average future earnings growth are generally could offer future abnormal returns in medium to long term and therefore enhance the Fund’s portfolio return. The Fund may also invest in stocks of small and mid-size companies (based on market capitalization) that are undervalued which normally could generate higher than average returns in relative to the market or other stocks with similar risk characteristics. Accordingly, the Fund Manager may adopt an active trading strategy to further enhance the Fund’s potential returns.
The Fund may also invest in bond which is generally for capital preservation and to achieve a moderate capital appreciation. The remaining of the portfolio will include cash (short-term money market instruments) mainly to ensure liquidity. |
