Any material changes to the investment objective of the Fund would require unitholder’s approval.

|
Investment Strategy |
In line with the objective of the Fund to provide annual income to the investors and at the same time aims to achieve moderate stability in the investors’ principal, the Fund would invest up to 90% of its Net Asset Value (NAV) in fixed income securities such as government bonds and corporate Islamic debt securities which are relatively secure and reasonable risk tolerance. The balance would be invested in Islamic money market instruments.
To maximize the funds potential return, the fund may invest primarily in corporate bonds that generally command higher yields than government bonds and money market instruments. Conversely, to ensure the stability and security of the fund’s investment, the Fund Manager would take a defensive strategy instead of taking an active trading approach by holding the bonds for long term. In doing so, the prudent selection process on issuers should be undertaken prior to purchase of the investment.
